Abstract As one of the basic researches for the development of biological panels, we examined cement composites that can be used as matrix materials for panels. The cement composites for biological panels used in the experiments were fabricated from formed cement composite materials (FCCM) using one kind of ordinary portland cement (OPC), alumina cement (AC) and magnesia cement (MPPC) as binders. Cement composites for biological panels were evaluated for flow, compressive strength, pH, Moisture content and Apparent density. Experiment result, OPC has not workability and is not suitable as a biological material for biological panels due to the unsatisfactory strength. The result of this study is to reflect the quality of the base material in terms of material in the biological panel design.
